Who Can Vote

Any wallet holding $VLT above the minimum threshold may vote on open proposals. Your vote is weighted by your exact $VLT balance at the time of casting. Larger holders carry proportionally more weight.

Who Makes Proposals

Proposals are created exclusively by the Vault Team wallet. This ensures governance integrity while the community grows. As the project matures, proposal rights may themselves be put to a vote.

Quorum Requirement

A vote must meet quorum - typically 5% of total $VLT supply participating - for a result to be binding. If quorum is not reached, the vote closes with no outcome and no action is taken.

Guardian Execution

For votes linked to Guardian parameters (such as fee rates or announcement windows), Guardian automatically executes the winning option on-chain after a successful vote closes. Execution is logged publicly.

Changing Your Vote

You may change your vote at any time while a vote remains open. Your previous ballot is removed and replaced with your new selection. Your weight is recalculated based on your current balance.

Verifiability

Every vote is signed by the casting wallet. Results are stored permanently in the public vote log. All Guardian executions are on-chain and publicly verifiable against the disclosed wallet addresses.
